Night time teeth grinding, bruxism, fist clenching.

A collection of resources, links and a community for people seeking help with various sleep problems.

There is demand for research on improving sleep quality. Recognition of the importance of restful sleep has grown in recent years.
Lived experience has much more weight in academic circles than before, hence building a community of people who have experience of these sleep issues could provide a sounding board for surveys and physiological research. The outcomes of such research is likely to help such a community.
“Share what you know, learn what you don’t know.”

Therapy ideas for bruxism are interesting – EMDR, Craniosacral, Compassionate Inquiry.

  1. Please recommend any medical specialists or clinics. Thanks!

Everyone in the UK may benefit from knowing where to refer to within the NHS.

  2. I work as an Internal family systems (IFS) therapist and a Sensorimotor psychotherapist. We work with the somatic aspects in IFS and SP so the part of you that is engaging in teeth grinding can get the help it needs to let go of the burdens it carries. This usually results in no more teeth grinding because the part of you doing that role/job doesn’t have to do it anymore. It takes time of course but it all depends on how much or how little traumatic energy is stuck in that area of your body. I have 5 years experience working with complex trauma and I offer sessions online. You’re welcome to send me a dm in case you’d like to try one 60 minute session for free.

  3. subliminal sessions on YouTube have helped me most! x x
